This complex, multi-phase project involved a full structural rehabilitation, the addition of a new second floor, and the integration of post-production suites, a full-capability shooting stage, a broadcast studio, and collaborative office spaces. The design preserved the authentic industrial character of the original structure while incorporating modern amenities, glass-walled offices, and dynamic mezzanines connected by bridges to foster creativity and flexibility. The space was designed to be reconfigurable, allowing production teams to adapt workstations and studio layouts to accommodate different projects. Delivering a technically sophisticated space required overcoming significant structural and environmental challenges. The building's location in a methane zone demanded a strategic approach to foundation work, HVAC placement, and roof reinforcements. Prefabricated mezzanines were bolted into place to avoid excavation, and over 40 rooftop HVAC units were precisely mapped and structurally reinforced to ensure performance without requiring a full roof replacement.
