The headquarters was carefully designed to support two distinct user groups, corporate staff and application developers, each with different workspace needs. Developers work in 120-degree open workstations designed for visibility and collaboration, while corporate staff operate in traditional 6’x6’ cubicles, separated by a buffer of 27 private offices. A mix of collaborative breakout areas and private workspaces ensures flexibility in work styles. One of the most ambitious aspects of the project was the installation of a 1962 Volkswagen bus, a defining feature of Alteryx’s brand identity. Positioned as a central design element near the reception and training center, the bus was craned into place on the building’s fourth floor, requiring the removal of a section of the exterior curtain wall in a highly coordinated operation. Turelk’s expertise in complex tenant improvements and precision construction execution ensured the seamless transformation of this space into a vibrant, functional headquarters that reflects Alteryx’s culture, innovation, and continued growth.
